WHAT IS THE BEST NFL GAME THIS SUNDAY….. or MONDAY???

If you were to ask me what might be the best game this Opening NFL Weekend, I think I’d have to throw out 2 teams that hate each other as well as a Division Match Up.  NO NO NO not the Jets and Miami, that wouldn’t even be a story if Brett Farve hadn’t joined the Jets at all. It would be the 4-12 Jets of last year against the lonely Miami Dolphins of 1-15 a year ago.

The Match Up I refer too is the Packers and the Vikings.  It will be very interesting to see how Aaron Rodgers handles one of if not the best Front 7’s in the nfl, not to mention himself as well.  Aaron has never started an NFL game and well neither has any of his back ups either so to say they are a little in-experienced at the QB position when just last year they had the oldest QB in the league next to Vinny T who might finally offically retire is an understatement.  Rodgers has the tools to win and has had a great teacher, he might be the next Philip Rivers who sat under Drew Brees for 2 years before he finally got his start or he might be the next NO NAME QB who had all the potential but never Panned out (Ryan Leaf).  Only time will tell and luckly for Green Bay the time is coming up on Monday to get it’s first of many glimpses of their Quarterback since no one else on their roster looks to be taking the starting spot anytime soon.  One thing about Rodgers is he has been injury prone early in his NFL Career thus far and it will be interesting to see how he handles the first starting gig he has had and to see how the Vikings look to Attack him.

The Vikings have a very good D-Fence upfront but in their secondary not so much.  Last year they were 32nd in Passing D-Fence and 1st against the Run, not too balanced if you ask me. It will also be interesting to see how well Adrian Peterson builds on his Coming Out Party last year, I mean what can he do for an encore????  I don’t know but I can’t wait to see it whatever it is.
