NO FUN LEAGUE (NFL) WINS AGAIN

After an eventful off-season to say the least Chad Johnson is out of Cincinnati and Chad Ocho Cinco is in. Chad “Johnson” Ocho Cinco legally filed to change his name on August 8Th and it looks to have become official this week according to Broward County, Fla.
If you ask me Chad “Johnson” Ocho Cinco is just trying to gain more and more attention like usual but a good kind in my eyes. Chad is one of the most recognizable faces in the NFL and I will say Ocho Cinco has never once been in trouble or done anything that warrants some sort of suspension from the NO FUN LEAGUE (NFL) like many of his current and former teammates. The NFL should allow players to express themselves at their job on Sundays when they score a touchdown if you ask me. It shouldn’t have to come down to Chad “Johnson” Ocho Cinco changing his name in order to have fun with the fans if you ask me.
The NFL thinks it has a right to tell fans, how to react in the stands, how long they are allowed to tailgate among many other stupid rules. The NFL should regulate it’s employees, not the ones providing them with their pay checks. I for one am happy with Roger Goodell putting in the Personal Conduct Policy but when you start Jacking up Prices from last year, telling people how long they are allowed to enjoy tailgating and how long you are allowed to stand during a game, that is getting a little too excessive in my eyes.
In the NO FUN LEAGUE last year there were 1148 Touchdown’s total which comes out to around 68 per week and on average 2 per team per week. Are you telling me getting a Touchdown is so easy that you shouldn’t be allowed to have fun and show off to the fans who paid so much to get their tickets and who are paying the salaries of the players not to mention the Owners, and Commish among others. I love the NFL more than any other league but it is just getting ridiculous with all of these rules for players as well as fans. The NFL should want fans as well as players to enjoy themselves as much as possible when their team scores a Touchdown and/or wins the game they played so hard to win. Seriously what is the point to have a crackdown on how much or how a player can celebrate when scoring, for instance when T.O. scored a T.D. last year he used the Ball, let me repeat, THE BALL in which he scored with as a prop which then the NFL fined him. When the NFL says no Props in TD celebrations they were talking about taking out a sharpie, or using a cell phone but not the very item you need to score a TD with. One word, EXCESSIVE!!!!
