Going in to play on Sunday August 31st MLB has had 249,783 Home Runs Hit All-Time. Who will hit #250,000???? Going back threw the years of MLB history and thinking about all our current and past heros I can’t but only hope that #250,000 will be hit by someone who hasn’t tainted the game one bit. If the only Active Member of the All Century team of the 1900’s hit it, it would really shift eyes off Steriods in Baseball during the Mid 90’s and 2000’s thus far. He goes by so many names such as. “The Kid” “Kenny” and a little bit more known just plain “JUNIOR” In my eyes if Ken Griffey Jr hit #250,000 not only would it bridge the past with the future it would help bring newer and younger generation of fans watching the game and give them something to shoot for if you ask me. No one wants to be the next Barry Bonds or Sammy Sosa among others. Fans want to be like players who they can relate to as well as they think are clean, players like Ken Griffey Jr., Albert Pujols or Derek Jeter.

Baseball has been tainted by the all might dollar more than any other sport and what is worse is it’s owerns and the Commish just turned their backs. When congress came a calling for Donald Fehr, Bud Selig along with many players, they all looked like 6 year old kids who got their hands caught in the cookie jar. I just wish that they would have all admited it years ago so the game would not still be a little tainted today, that is why I think it would be important for Ken Griffey Jr to hit #250,000. Battling back from injury time and time again showing how much he loves the game his Dad introduced him to and never being even spectulated to have ever done any illegal substances at all.

Go Kenny Go, towards History and maybe one day the All-Time HR record as well!!!!
